PERSONALITY
As a human, Austin was very reserved. He wasn't the loudest person in the room and mostly kept to himself. He very much stuck to the rules, not really attempting to attract attention towards himself. Those who he considered friends didn't see a difference in him. Maybe he spoke a little more but again, he wasn't one to be the loudest in the room or crack jokes over and over again. He was an anxious individual, often worrying about where he'd end up in life. Worrying about how he looked in people's eyes.
As a vampire, it initially was the same thing though he slowly became more cocky and full himself when he realised the power he truly held. An immortal who could be whoever he wanted and do whatever he wanted. When he met her though, she made him better. She brought his confidence out. She made him feel even more powerful, like he could conquer the world with her at his side. Though since losing her, he's felt lost himself.

HISTORY
- Growing up, Austin wasn't an extraordinary kid. He was fortunate, born into a well off family who could provide resources to him such as learning, the best education possible. He enjoyed books.
- He had a few friends growing up, but he didn't give them attention. The pressures of the world at a young age were already eating him alive as he often contemplated life and the meaning of it.
- In the small town he was in, his family had influence. They held the keys to the town and having the name Hayes meant you had a reputation to uphold. This also meant that they were targets of the shadows.
- Austin remembers him. The male who came into town. The mysterious aura though his eyes burned with rage each time he stared at his father. He became fascinated with why he came into town and why he held such resentment towards his father.
-Months passed by and the male struck. Austin was the recipient, the vampire recognising that he was the apple of his eye. The vampire turned Austin.
- Turns out, his father had known about vampires and hunted them previously. When his father realised just what Austin had become, he flipped. He disowned him. His father gave him an opportunity to escape town before he was forced to kill him.
-Unfortunately, his father had a change of heart and Austin had no choice but to kill his father in an act of defence.
-Austin proceeded to turn his emotions off. He partied. His personality altered as he became more accustomed with his new found power and immortality. No longer reserved and quiet, but a cocky individual who knew he had a smile that could get him whatever he wanted.
-Life was a blur. He had eternity to do what he wished. He met Rosalia though and everything changed.
-As a vampire, emotions are heightened so whatever he felt for her the moment he laid eyes on her, only continued to increase with each night they partied together. The Beatles decade? Nah, Austin didn't see it that way. He saw it as the decade he turned Rosalia, the person he wanted to spend eternity with.
- She made him feel like a king and she was his queen. Years continued and eternity couldn't get better than this, he thought.
-2020, everything changed. Enemies from the past emerged from the shadow. His recklessness and impulsiveness before he met Rosalia had caught up to him and now, victims from the past were seeking justice. He was cornered and he had no option but to fight back.
- There was no option anymore. He had to fake his death in order to protect her from his foolishness in the past. After staking one of his enemies and killing them, he burnt them so they couldn't be identified. He left his necklace behind, one from his human life. She'd recognise it.
- Whilst his enemies still hunt him down, Austin realised it was a mistake leaving her. He felt weak. He felt like he did back in his human life. He tracked her down and it has led him back to Mystic Falls.

RP SAMPLE
The innocence was laced in her tone as she believed it to be Matt approaching her. She'd soon find out it wasn't Matt, but her personal nightmare. The Original Hybrid had murdered her auntie to complete the ritual two years ago, becoming both beast and vampire. There was no remorse on Klaus' side. If anything, he'd do it all over again and ensure that her fate had met a worse end. He felt betrayed by Stefan and Elena still breathing was a slap across his face. An act of defiance from Stefan that Klaus hadn't expected. Did he still love her? Because Nik would soon beat any feelings out of him viciously. When she turned to see him, Klaus wore a smug look on his face as she went pale in the face. Her lips had parted as if she had seen a ghost. ''In the flesh.'' Klaus replied as she spoke his name. She couldn't possibly begin to imagine his motives in that moment. Niklaus was a methodical, calculating man who was thinking in every situation he was in and in this moment, the cogs were in motion. He'd become the architect of her pain and misery if she didn't answer his questions.
Klaus appreciated her attempts to remain fearless as she stood before Death himself. Now, The Hybrid knew whilst Elena escaped the clutches of death, who was truly going to face his wrath? Would it be her? Would it be Stefan? What other culprits were involved in ensuring that she remained her life. That night flashed before his eyes and he remembered his brother, Elijah having been present that night. ''You can see why I might find that to be a problem.'' Klaus' tone was cold, his eyes beginning to examine her face. Within seconds, he gained confirmation that she wasn't a vampire, though the hint of vervain which she wore around her neck more than enough evidence otherwise the necklace would be searing her skin.
He was quick to notice what she was doing, side stepping her way towards the door but she should have known better. There was no escape from him. ''Whilst we're on the subject of me being the destroyer of lives, how is your aunt... Jenny was it?'' Klaus' smirk only continued to crawl across his face, attempting to push the buttons of the mortal. ''I would have dismantled her head from her shoulders had I known it would lead to this moment.'' Klaus' words were deadly, the smugness being wiped from his face as she mentioned Stefan. ''Ah of course. Stefan Salvatore. Perhaps I'll have you in the audience when I see fit to pass judgement on his treachery. His betrayal will have the utmost severe consequence, I can assure you.'' Klaus had murdered Finn in order to protect Stefan, wiping him from the Earth forever and yet, Stefan persisted with donning the mask that Elena had died. Lies always come out to the surface.
''Let me make myself clear; you will answer me or I will rip everyone that you love apart. I'll start with your brother and then maybe I'll move on to... Bonnie is it? You can visualise the scene I'm painting, can't you?'' Klaus snatched his hand out, curling his fingers around her arm harshly as he clenched his jaw. The time for games had halted. ''How are you still alive?''
