All vampires are made.
[break][break]
Vampires are among the oldest creatures of the night. Their kind has hunted humans for just over a millenium. Almost all vampires are solitary, preferring to keep their prey to themselves. This has led to vampires being very territorial.
[break][break]
Abilities include:Increased strength, speed and stamina.Increased endurance.
[break][break]
Compulsion. This allows them to force humans to follow their words. The effect fades away after a few days. They cannot influence other species.
[break][break]
Eternal creatures, they will only die if killed, not of old age.Humans can be turned into vampires. This happens if a vampire feeds a human blood and then takes their life. Most new vampires die within their first year. This rate is even higher if the vampire’s maker abandons them. As vampires age, their strength grows. However, each year that passes a vampire is more likely to die.
[break][break]
If a vampire ingests fresh human blood every couple of days, they cannot be differentiated from humans. However, after a couple of weeks without blood, a vampire’s skin will go a sickly pale. If a vampire goes too long without blood, their skin will crack as they begin to descicate. The longer a vampire goes without blood, the more blood they will need when they finally feed. Vampires cannot walk in sunlight, unless they are able to trick or force a witch into making a daylight ring.
[break][break]
Vampires are unable to pass a home’s threshold without invitation. In their true form, a vampire’s face will appear stiff and leathery tight against their skull. Their eyes will be a deep and intimidating red as black veins appear below their eyes.
[break][break]
All vampires descend from the Originals. The Originals are the oldest vampires. The Originals are the strongest and most feared. Their lore is largely unknown, and what is told is unreliable.
